Usage note

加班是指工作时间外的工作。家长可以和孩子讨论家人加班的情况，比如爸爸加班到晚上九点。

jiābān shì zhǔngōng shíjiān wài de gōngzuò. Jiazheng kěyǐ hé háizi tǎolùn jiārén jiābān de kuàngtái, bǐ如爸爸加班到晚上九点。

加班 refers to work outside regular hours. Parents can discuss with children about family members working overtime, such as Dad working until 9 PM.

Context note

加班通常出现在工作日，特别是在忙碌的季节或项目截止日期临近时。家长可以和孩子一起讨论这些情况，并解释为什么有时候需要加班。

jiābān tōngcháng chūxiàn zài gōngzuò rì, particular shíqian dàbiào bùkě qǐlái jiābān. Jiazheng kěyǐ hé háizi yīqǐ tǎolùn zhèxiē kuàngtái, bìng yìshǔ wèishéme yǒu shíhou xūyào jiābān.

Overtime usually occurs on workdays, especially during busy seasons or when project deadlines are approaching. Parents can discuss these situations with children and explain why sometimes overtime is necessary.
