Usage note
“举例”表示把一个具体的例子说出来，帮助别人明白。
“jǔlì” biǎoshì bǎ yí ge jùtǐ de lìzi shuō chūlái, bāngzhù biérén míngbai.
“Give an example” means saying one specific example to help others understand.
Context note
它常用在说话、上课和解释问题时。
Tā cháng yòng zài shuōhuà, shàngkè hé jiěshì wèntí shí.
It is often used when speaking, in class, and when explaining questions.
