Usage note

门口是指建筑物的入口处。我们可以在门口放一些装饰品，或者在门口迎接客人。

ménkǒu shì zhùjiàn de rùkǒu chǔ. Wǒmen kěyǐ zài ménkǒu fàng yīxiē zhuǎnróng pǐn, huòzhě zài ménkǒu wèndū kèrén.

门口 refers to the entrance of a building. We can place some decorations at the doorway or greet guests there.

Context note

门口常见于建筑物、家庭和商店。例如，学校的大门就是门口，家里的大门也是门口。

ménkǒu jìncān yú zhùjiàn wù, jiātíng hé shāngdiàn. Rúlèi, xuéxiào de dàmén jiùshì ménkǒu, jiālǐ de dàmén yě shì ménkǒu.

门口 is commonly found in buildings, homes, and stores. For example, the main entrance of a school or home is a doorway.
