Usage note

热表示温度高，也可以表示东西烫。天气热的时候，人会想喝水。

rè biǎo shì wēn dù gāo， yě kě yǐ biǎo shì dōng xī tàng。 tiān qì rè de shí hòu， rén huì xiǎng hē shuǐ。

热 means the temperature is high, and it can also mean something is hot to touch. When it is hot, people want to drink water.
