Usage note

“双方”指两个不同的方面或团体，常用于比赛、合作或讨论中。

“shuāngfāng” zhǐ liǎng gè bùtóng de fāngmiàn huò tuántǐ, cháng yòng yú bǐsài, hézuò huò tǎolùn zhōng.

"Both sides" refers to two different parties or groups, often used in competitions, cooperation, or discussions.

Context note

在学校里，老师和学生是双方；在游戏中，红队和蓝队是双方。

Zài xuéxiào lǐ, lǎoshī hé xuéshēng shì shuāngfāng; zài yóuxì zhōng, hóng duì hé lán duì shì shuāngfāng.

At school, teachers and students are both sides; in games, the red team and blue team are both sides.
