Usage note

部用来表示一个组织或机构中的部分，或者某个事物的组成部分。

bù lái bǎo shì yī gè zǔ zhī huò zhě jī chǔ zhōng de fēn bù, huò zhě gè sòng wù de zuǒ yú bān chéng dǎo chéng dǎo.

部 is used to indicate a part of an organization or institution, or the components of something.

Context note

在日常生活中，我们经常看到部门这个词。比如学校有教务部、人事部等；公司也有市场部、财务部等部门。

zài rì cháng de shēn qíng zhōng, wǒ men jiāng jīng kàn dào bùmén zhè gè cí. bǐ 如 学校有教务部、人事部等；公司也有市场部、财务部等部门。

In daily life, we often see the word department. For example, schools have academic affairs departments and personnel departments; companies also have marketing departments and finance departments.
