Usage note

猜在日常生活中常用来猜测或推断某事。例如，当你想知道朋友喜欢的动物是什么时，可以问：‘你猜我最喜欢的动物是什么？’

cāi zài rì cháng shēn qū lǐ cháng cháng lái yòng cāi jù huò tuī duàn mǒ xiàng. rú guǒ, nǐng xiǎo zháo péng you xǐ huān de dòng wù shì shén me, kěyǐ wèn: ‘nǐ cāi wǒ zuì hào xǐ de dòng wù shì shén me? ’

The word '猜' is commonly used in daily life to guess or infer something. For example, if you want to know what animal your friend likes best, you can ask: ‘你猜我最喜欢的动物是什么？’

Context note

猜通常用于游戏、娱乐或日常对话中。例如，玩猜谜语游戏时，你会说：‘请猜一个水果的名字。’

cāi tōng cháng yòng yú yóu xì, yóuyù huò rì cháng huà huà zhōng. rú guǒ, wán cāi mǐ yǔ yóu xì shí, nǐ huì shuō: ‘qǐng cāi yī gè shuǐ guǒ de míng zì。’

'猜' is commonly used in games, entertainment, or daily conversations. For example, when playing a guessing game with riddles, you might say: '请猜一个水果的名字。'
