Usage note

词语是用来表达意思的最小单位，比如我们说话时用到的每一个字或短语都是词语。

cí yǔ shì yòng lái biaos达达表思sī de zuì xiǎo de dānwèi, rúguǒ wǒmen huàhuà shí yòng dào de měitiān yī kē zì huò shǎodànguǎn dōu shì cí yǔ.

Words are the smallest units of meaning. For example, every character or phrase we use when speaking is a word.

Context note

词语常见于日常对话、文章和书籍中。比如在介绍新朋友时，我们会用到很多词语来描述对方的特征。

cí yǔ jì cháng yú rì cháng huàhuà、wénzhāng hé shūjí zhōng. bǐrú zài jièshào xīn péngyǒu shí, wǒmen huì yòng dào hěnduō cí yǔ lái miáo shù fǎngdāi de zhuāngzhēng.

Words are commonly found in daily conversations, articles, and books. For example, when introducing a new friend, we use many words to describe their characteristics.
