Usage note

地铁是指城市里的地下交通工具，比如北京、上海等地都有地铁系统。

dìtiě shì zhǐ chéngshì lǐ de dìxià de gōngjù chūnzī, rúkě běijīng、shànghǎi dì yuándé dìtiě xìtǒng。

地铁 refers to underground transportation in cities. For example, Beijing and Shanghai both have subway systems.

地铁通常在城市的中心区域运行，人们可以乘坐地铁去上班或上学。

dìtiě tōngcháng zài chéngshì de zhōngxīn yùqu yùnruò, rénkūn kěyǐ chèngzài dìtiě qù shàngbān huò xuéxiào。
