根据是用来表示依据或按照的意思，通常放在句首。
gēn jù shì yòng lái biǎo shì yī jù huò zāng yàng de yì思，tōng cháng fàng zài jù shǒu。
根据 is used to indicate 'according to' or 'based on'. It usually appears at the beginning of a sentence.
