Usage note

“过去”用来表示已经发生的事情。比如，我们可以说‘我过去住在那个城市’来表达我已经不住在那里了。

guòqù lái bǎo yǐ jīng fā shēn de shì qing. rú guǒ, wǒ kěyǐ shuō ‘wǒ guòqù zhù zài nà ge chéng shì’ lái biǎo dá wǒ yǐ jīng bù zhù zài nàlǐ le.

"过去" is used to indicate something that has already happened. For example, we can say '我过去住在那个城市' to mean I no longer live there.

Context note

“过去”常用于描述已经发生的事情，比如讲述个人经历或历史事件。

guòqù cháng yòng yú miáo shù yǐ jīng fā shēn de shì qing, rú bù ruò sù lǎng gè rén jīng lì huò lì shǐ dǎn.
