Usage note
“人物”可以指故事里的人，也可以指有名的人。
“rénwù” kěyǐ zhǐ gùshì lǐ de rén, yě kěyǐ zhǐ yǒumíng de rén.
"Figure" can refer to a person in a story, or a famous person.
Context note
在儿童故事里，人物常常是小朋友或小动物。
Zài értóng gùshì lǐ, rénwù chángcháng shì xiǎopéngyǒu huò xiǎo dòngwù.
In children's stories, the figures are often children or small animals.
