Usage note
“如”可以表示“像”或者“比如”，用来举例或比较。
“rú” kěyǐ biǎoshì “xiàng” huòzhě “bǐrú”, yòng lái jǔlì huò bǐjiào.
"As" can mean "like" or "for example", used to give examples or compare.
Context note
小朋友可以说“如苹果、香蕉等水果”，来列举喜欢的水果。
Xiǎopéngyǒu kěyǐ shuō “rú píngguǒ, xiāngjiāo děng shuǐguǒ”, lái lièjǔ xǐhuān de shuǐguǒ.
Children can say "fruits such as apples, bananas, etc." to list favorite fruits.
