Usage note

“如同”意思是“好像、就像”，用来比喻两个事物相似。比如，“她的笑容如同阳光一样温暖”。

“Rútóng” yìsi shì “hǎoxiàng, jiù xiàng”, yòng lái bǐyù liǎng gè shìwù xiāngsì. Bǐrú, “tā de xiàoróng rútóng yángguāng yīyàng wēnnuǎn”.

"As" or "like" means "seems like, just like," used to compare two things that are similar. For example, "Her smile is as warm as sunshine."

Context note

这个词常用于比喻，让描述更生动。在儿童故事中，可以说“月亮如同一个大圆盘”。注意不要用于比较不好的事物。

Zhège cí cháng yòng yú bǐyù, ràng miáoshù gèng shēngdòng. Zài értóng gùshì zhōng, kěyǐ shuō “yuèliàng rútóng yī gè dà yuánpán”. Zhùyì bùyào yòng yú bǐjiào bù hǎo de shìwù.

This word is often used in metaphors to make descriptions more vivid. In children's stories, you can say "The moon is like a big round plate." Be careful not to use it to compare bad things.
