Usage note
“湿”表示物体含有水分，不干燥。
“Shī” biǎoshì wùtǐ hányǒu shuǐfèn, bù gānzào.
"Wet" means an object contains water and is not dry.

下雨后，地面会变湿。我们洗澡后，头发也是湿的。
Xià yǔ hòu, dìmiàn huì biàn shī. Wǒmen xǐzǎo hòu, tóufa yě shì shī de.
After rain, the ground becomes wet. After we shower, our hair is also wet.
