Usage note

摔表示不小心失去平衡而倒下，比如摔跤或摔伤，也可以指用力扔东西。

Shuāi biǎoshì bù xiǎoxīn shīqù pínghéng ér dǎoxià, bǐrú shuāijiāo huò shuāishāng, yě kěyǐ zhǐ yònglì rēng dōngxī.

'To fall' means accidentally losing balance and falling down, like tripping or getting hurt from a fall; it can also mean to throw something forcefully.

Context note

在操场上跑步时，要小心不要摔倒，如果摔倒了要赶紧站起来。

Zài cāochǎng shàng pǎobù shí, yào xiǎoxīn bùyào shuāidǎo, rúguǒ shuāidǎo le yào gǎnjǐn zhàn qǐlái.

When running on the playground, be careful not to fall; if you fall, get up quickly.
