Usage note

“太”用来表示事物的程度非常大，可以是好的也可以是不好的。例如：这个玩具太好玩了。这里的‘太’就表示程度非常高。

tài lái bǎo shì wù děng de chéng dù fēi常 dà, kě yǐ shì hǎo de yě kě yǐ shì bù hǎo de.

"太" is used to indicate that something has a very high degree. It can be positive or negative, like saying this toy is too fun.

Context note

“太”常用于描述事物的程度，比如天气、食物或活动。例如：今天的天气太热了；这个蛋糕太甜了。

tài cháng yòng lái miáo shù wù děng de chéng dù, rú bǐ tian qì, shí wù huò dòng huó. rú kě : jīntiān de tiān qì tài rè le ; zhè gè dàng guǒ tài tián le .

"太" is often used to describe the degree of things, such as weather, food, or activities. For example: Today's weather is too hot; this cake is too sweet.
