消失的意思是东西或人不见了，看不到了。
Xiāoshī de yìsi shì dōngxi huò rén bùjiàn le, kàn bù dào le.
Disappear means something or someone is gone, cannot be seen.
Context note
我们可以说太阳消失，玩具消失，或者朋友消失。
Wǒmen kěyǐ shuō tàiyáng xiāoshī, wánjù xiāoshī, huòzhě péngyǒu xiāoshī.
We can say the sun disappears, a toy disappears, or a friend disappears.
