Usage note

选是用来表示选择或挑选的意思。比如，你可以在很多选项中选出你喜欢的。

xuǎn shì yòng lái biǎo shì xuǎnzé huò qiǎn xīng. rúguǒ, nǐ kěyǐ zài duō gè xiǎnàng zhōng xuǎn chū nǐ xǐhuān de.

选 is used to indicate choosing or selecting something. For example, you can choose what you like from many options.

选常见于日常生活中的选择场景，比如选衣服、选食物或者选礼物。

xuǎn jìncān yú rìjīntíng shēnzhōng de xuǎnzé chǎngqǐng, bǐrú xuǎnyīfú, xuǎnfùzi huò zhě xuǎnlǐwù.

选 is commonly found in daily life situations where choices are made, such as choosing clothes, food, or gifts.
