Usage note

“有名”就是大家都知道、很多人都听说过。比如一个地方、一个人或者一样东西，如果很有名，就是很多人都知道它。

"Yǒumíng" jiù shì dàjiā dōu zhīdào, hěn duō rén dōu tīngshuō guò. Bǐrú yī gè dìfāng, yī gè rén huòzhě yī yàng dōngxī, rúguǒ hěn yǒumíng, jiù shì hěn duō rén dōu zhīdào tā.

This word means that something or someone is widely known by many people. You can use it to describe a place, a person, or a thing that has become well-known.

Context note

当一个人、地方或东西被很多人知道时，就可以用“有名”来形容。这个词常用于谈论名人、著名景点或受欢迎的事物。

Dāng yīgè rén, dìfāng huò dōngxī bèi hěnduō rén zhīdào shí, jiù kěyǐ yòng “yǒumíng” lái xíngróng. Zhège cí cháng yòng yú tánlùn míngrén, zhùmíng jǐngdiǎn huò shòu huānyíng de shìwù.

This word is used to describe a person, place, or thing that is known by many people. It often appears when talking about celebrities, famous landmarks, or popular items in daily life.
