Usage note

站台是火车站或地铁站里乘客上下车的地方。比如，在站台等车。

Zhàn tái shì huǒchē zhàn huò dìtiě zhàn lǐ chéngkè shàngxià chē de dìfang. Bǐrú, zài zhàn tái děng chē.

Platform is the place where passengers get on and off at train stations or subway stations. For example, waiting for a train on the platform.

在站台等车时，要站在安全线后面。站台上有指示牌。
