Usage note

“阵”可以表示一阵风、一阵雨，或者一阵笑声。它用来描述短时间内连续发生的事情。

“Zhèn” kěyǐ biǎoshì yī zhèn fēng, yī zhèn yǔ, huòzhě yī zhèn xiàoshēng. Tā yònglái miáoshù duǎn shíjiān nèi liánxù fāshēng de shìqíng.

"Burst" can mean a burst of wind, a burst of rain, or a burst of laughter. It is used to describe things that happen continuously in a short period of time.

Context note

在教室里，同学们突然发出一阵笑声，因为老师讲了一个有趣的故事。

Zài jiàoshì lǐ, tóngxuémen tūrán fāchū yī zhèn xiàoshēng, yīnwèi lǎoshī jiǎngle yī gè yǒuqù de gùshì.
