Usage note
“争取”意思是努力去得到或实现某个目标，比如争取好成绩。
“Zhēngqǔ” yìsi shì nǔlì qù dédào huò shíxiàn mǒu gè mùbiāo, bǐrú zhēngqǔ hǎo chéngjì.
"争取" means to work hard to get or achieve a goal, like striving for good grades.

我们要争取每天读一本书，这样能学到很多知识。
Wǒmen yào zhēngqǔ měitiān dú yī běn shū, zhèyàng néng xué dào hěn duō zhīshi.
We should strive to read a book every day, so we can learn a lot.
